In this catch-up episode, Oshi and I finally get back behind the mic after a few busy weeks and trade stories about everything that happened while we were away. We open with a look at the show’s recent momentum, shout out the listeners who sent boosts, and reflect on how much we enjoy being part of the Bitcoin and Nostr ecosystem. From there, we get into a pair of parallel life adventures: Oshi’s first farmer’s market success after unexpected car repairs, and my fishing trip chaos involving truck trouble, improvised roadside fixes, a missed plan turned dock-fishing detour, and eventually a successful charter that filled the freezer with salmon, lingcod, halibut, and rockfish.
We also spend a big chunk of the conversation unpacking Bitcoin self-custody and the recent Coldcard controversy, which leads us into a broader discussion about entropy, dice rolls, open-source tools, and returning to Bitcoin fundamentals. Along the way, we talk about why Nostr still feels different from traditional social media, why responsibility and sovereignty matter, and how communities built around Bitcoin keep showing up when it counts. We wrap by touching on the Bullish Market, Oshi’s growing food business, and the simple reminder at the heart of the show: you are the algorithm.

Here we go.
[00:00:21] Permanerd:
Hello, and welcome to the Yada podcast where you are the algorithm. I am Permanerd, and the abbot to my Costello is Oshi. How you doing, man?
[00:00:33] Oshi:
Doing good. I'm glad to talk again. It's been quite some time.
[00:00:38] Permanerd:
It has been. It's just been we've both been busy on Fridays and every other day of the week, so it's been difficult to to, I guess, prioritize this podcast as much as we both enjoy doing it. Life gets in the way, but you just gotta roll with the punches, I suppose. I don't know. But here we are. Let's do it. Yeah. We found a we found some time on I guess it would be Saturday evening your time. It's I mean, I guess it's coming into Saturday evening my time as well.
[00:01:09] Oshi:
Twenty second. East Coast. You're on West Coast. West Coast. West Coast. Let's go.
[00:01:16] Permanerd:
So, yeah, this is a podcast that we haven't done in almost a month. I was just looking at it. July 25 was the last one. It is now August 22. So it is good to catch up. This is a value for value show, which just means that we chuck it out into the and it goes into your ear holes. And if you find any value in it, then we just ask if you want to return some, whether that's sharing it with somebody Mhmm. Or sending us notes on Noster, or even better, sending a boost through a podcasting two point o enabled app such as Podcast Guru or Fountain, something like that. And then you can send some amount of Bitcoin and then attach a message, and it will go directly to a server that I have in my office, which allows us to read said boost directly.
And the Bitcoin goes towards the expenses that we have, which is mostly Podhome, which is where we host this show. And we just had a a bill from Podhome, so we could use some healthy boost to pay for it because we're a little bit behind here. Send it. Alright. With that out of the way, well, let's get to some boost from the time that we've been away. The first is a 199 sats from our good friend Alice a. That's from the fountain. And it says fountain works again. Boost it. Hell, yeah. Love when things work. Yeah. I still can't get fountain to work on my phone.
So it's been months and months, and it's annoying because it is the easiest way for me to boost other podcasts, which I do frequently. So I don't know if it is just the Graphene OS working with the Amber signer, but, everything's up to date and Fountain still won't work. And mister Oscar Mary does not get back to me on Noster.
[00:03:25] Oshi:
Have you have you looked at any other signers?
[00:03:28] Permanerd:
I have not. I have not. I've used Amber forever. I'm
[00:03:35] Oshi:
not sure if Clave, c l a v e, that's a signer that I have. It's on iOS. I'm not sure if it's also for graphing, but seems to work pretty well.
[00:03:45] Permanerd:
Okay. Yeah. I'll check it out. Yeah. And I think NSEC Bunker, is that an app or is that
[00:03:53] Oshi:
nsec.app is the one that I have as well. There's also, I don't know how to pronounce it. Aegis, a e g I s. That's another one. Okay. Yeah.
[00:04:06] Permanerd:
Alright. Well, if anybody, has any suggestions on how to get Nostril to Nostril, to get Fountain to work on a Graphene OS phone, it's a Pixel 10 running Graphene. Everything's the latest and greatest. So help me. Anybody, if you're out there, help. Is there anybody out there? Just help me if you can hear me. And now the next the next boost is 2,100 from another good friend, Reed, b t c from Fountain. And it says another banger, guys, fire emoji. As a Nostr first pod, you guys already know your Nostr community.
But if you'd like to see it all in one place, check out httpscolon//onlyboost.social, and then show c b, and it has a a GUID ID. I guess that's our show on onlyboost.social,
[00:05:11] Oshi:
which I've sent me that link too. It's pretty cool. Nice. I'm gonna have to check it out.
[00:05:17] Permanerd:
But Reid started another podcast because he has the local podcast, the local Bitcoiners podcast, with Rev Hoddle, and now he just started another one I've been listening to with Chad f who is a Oh, cool. Podcasting two point o legend.
[00:05:34] Oshi:
I didn't realize Chad's got his own podcast.
[00:05:37] Permanerd:
They just they're on episode
[00:05:39] Oshi:
three, I believe. Oh, that's awesome.
[00:05:42] Permanerd:
Yeah. Yeah. It's been good. They're talking about they're talking about, Noster and podcasting two point o and vibe coding mostly.
[00:05:52] Oshi:
Okay. Cool. Yeah. It'd be cool to have a a four way chat.
[00:05:56] Permanerd:
Woah. Easy, buddy. Woah. Woah. Kids show. Kids show. Yeah. Here's the bowl. Throw your keys in it. Oh, she's going nuts. Yeah. Absolutely. It's great because, I mean, they the local Bitcoiners show, they're talking about our show quite a bit, and I'm always boosting them. They're always boosting us. So it's kind of a circular economy in that way. And, yeah, it's it's fun to be to be part of this. It almost feels like a bit of a wave of of Nostr first content.
[00:06:31] Oshi:
Mhmm.
[00:06:33] Permanerd:
Definitely. And if you don't know what Nostr is, you should. N o s t r. Look it up. DuckDuckGo, BraveSearch. The next boost is 500 sats from p 13BNF 10 W. And I would be pretty excited to to understand the the numerology with this. As I've I've seen I've seen them around on Nostril now, but I don't fully understand. P 13 b. It's It's not meant to be understood, dude. Flow. Pleb and flow. Oh, I'm a I'm a genius. The numbers are actually letters.
[00:07:19] Oshi:
They're hieroglyphs. They're from some corrupt r n g. Yes. They are
[00:07:28] Permanerd:
cool. Oh, that's nice. That makes a lot more sense than random letters and numbers. Just 40 bits. And that's actually from boost me bitch, which is a Chad f vibe coding. I use it actually quite a bit now too to to boost different podcast. And the note says, the show is taking taking stride nicely. Wanted to let you know if you like wisp but hate Google sign in, try dark wisp. Same app same app, Amber support.
[00:08:00] Oshi:
Okay. I didn't realize there was a a DarkWisp.
[00:08:03] Permanerd:
Yeah. I had I had seen I think it's UTXO Webmaster is the one that did the wisp. And Mhmm. I had seen him say something about that, but then it was there wasn't an actual app. It was a a GitHub repo, which is fine. Because if you do find something like that, there is an app, at least on Android, called, Obtanium. And with Obtanium, you can you can find a Git repo and put the link to or the the URL to that in there, and it will install the app from the Git repo. Oh, interesting. Yeah. It's it's a a good hack for anybody that wants to get around, a Play Store or something like that. If it's an open source app and it has a Git repo,
[00:08:54] Oshi:
you can install apps that way. So I'll have to give that a Yeah. Yeah. That's cool. Because I think the last time we were talking about wisp was that the only way or one of the ways of logging in was using the, like, Google, which is weird.
[00:09:07] Permanerd:
That was the only way. They took away the Yeah. The Nostr login or just to be able to use it without a login. Yeah. I I don't understand. I don't either. Because, I mean, what I want to be able to do is log in with Facebook,
[00:09:21] Oshi:
but it only allowed Google. Can I put in my cell phone number? Yeah. Actually,
[00:09:26] Permanerd:
yes. Can I can I give you my date of birth and my cell phone number and maybe my Please? Social security I I need a KYC app, please. Please. Kycme.com?
[00:09:42] Oshi:
Please. Well, I'm glad that it's dark now. Yes. I'll be
[00:09:51] Permanerd:
interested to try it out. Let's see. The next one is 333 stats from Jim Seifert. Legend. Legendary. And it says, followed John C. Dvorak since ZD TV and PC mag days. I was saddened to hear of his passing. No Agenda episode eighteen eighty eight is a tier is a tier jersey, which I'm assuming that means tier jerker, but a tier or a tier jersey. English is weird. Tier jersey. Hashtag s m I j, hashtag zapped, hashtag grown oster. Nice. Yeah. I've been listening to I first heard John C. Dvorak on now what's it called? Leo Laporte.
Whatever it is, it's a mainstream now tech podcast. Mhmm. Twit, This Week in Tech. But he ended up getting kicked off of there for, I think, lewd comments or something like that. Or I think he turned the the the main host. I think he switched his his phone into Korean or something. He got a hold of it and he changed it from English to Korean.
[00:11:10] Oshi:
Yeah. I'm I'm personally unfamiliar with him. So that's really funny though.
[00:11:16] Permanerd:
It is. And then the other the other host, Adam Curry from the No Agenda podcast, he got booted off of the Twit as well. He was on there, every once in a while as well, but he ended up, like, taking his 44 Magnum or something like that onto the show. Oh my god. And it's a very liberal minded crew, and they didn't like having a a head Oh, that must have been, jeez, I don't know, ten years ago. Oh, okay. Before
[00:11:47] Oshi:
you were born. Yeah. Yeah.
[00:11:54] Permanerd:
And we got another three hundred and thirty three three sets from Jim again. And it says I played with the different flavors of Linux early on and ran them on thumb thumb drives so I could just pop in whatever I wanted to play with and boom from there. Storage is always mirrored on a couple matching drives. I struggle with paid off sites paid off-site storage and privacy issue. Reminds me of how Tails OS works where you just kind of install it on a thumb drive and just boot from it. Yeah. Most Linux distros, you can you can do that. Yeah. That's cool. Yeah. And then a lot of them will just have even a right on you boot it up, and it'll have the the desktop, and then it'll just say install. And you just click that, and Bob's your uncle if you wanna install it. Yeah. Bob is awesome. Bob is awesome. Bob lives in the big big smoke.
[00:12:48] Oshi:
Podcast name. Bob is awesome. Bob. Bob the uncle. Bob
[00:12:53] Permanerd:
the abominable. I have off-site storage that I the the pCloud that I've talked about before. And, yes, I definitely there there is a way to encrypt everything before it goes up, but I understand the privacy issues with what I'm storing there. And so I'm not too On to the about it. I don't put my, cold card keys or anything up there.
[00:13:22] Oshi:
I mean, you might as well at this point.
[00:13:27] Permanerd:
We'll get to that later. Yeah. We'll get to that. The next next boost is 420 sats from the aforementioned RevHodl from Fountain. It says, when it comes to use and value value renewable resources, I've realized trash is a renewable resource. There's there will always be trash, and it's very accessible. Find ways to use as much trash as possible. One man's trash is another man's treasure after all.
[00:13:57] Oshi:
Wise words from wise man with good taste of music.
[00:14:01] Permanerd:
Yeah. And and a good podcast. Mhmm. Hey. I've got a question for you that this brought up. You ever been dumpster diving?
[00:14:09] Oshi:
I've actually never been, but it's something that I would definitely be down to do. If a friend asked me, I'd be so down. But, no, actually, to be honest. Have you? I did. I was
[00:14:21] Permanerd:
in Scotland for a while.
[00:14:24] Oshi:
And what'd you do it for? For, like, doughnuts or Bread. Or No. Bread. Food. Food in general.
[00:14:31] Permanerd:
So Chips? Oh, yeah. Whatever I could find. But, yeah, it's amazing how much food
[00:14:38] Oshi:
is thrown away. We're so wasteful. It's amazing. It really is. It it's abominable.
[00:14:46] Permanerd:
I lived in a hammock for a while in Austin too, but that's a different story for a different day.
[00:14:54] Oshi:
Next episode.
[00:14:56] Permanerd:
Yeah. Exactly. The next boost is 500 Sats from bullish clips. And it says, thank you for supporting the take my Sats merchants. Too many good ones to name, but there is a grid on the home page that displays them all in an infinite scroll. And that's, httpscolon//www.takemysatsdotcom. And I think there's a we have a a promo code for that, don't we? Do we? Yada. I don't know. There's something that that he had sent us. We should. Don't know if anybody's used that yet. Somebody sign up for Take My SAT. Sell your stuff. But even as Rev Hoddle just said, one man's trash is another man's treasure. Try to sell your trash on takemysats.com.
Use the promo code Yada,
[00:15:54] Oshi:
and let's see what happens. One man's chips is another man's chips.
[00:16:04] Permanerd:
Thanks, Polish. You're a gentleman and a scholar. We salute you, sir. Thank you. And then a 100 tats again from bullish clips, and that says, can confirm the jerky from BJ is Keto licious.
[00:16:20] Oshi:
Nice. Yeah. I can confirm too. Awesome.
[00:16:23] Permanerd:
That is The dill pickle. The dill pickle. Dill pickle. Wow.
[00:16:28] Oshi:
Eat the pickle.
[00:16:32] Permanerd:
Cool. I'd like to try that. 420 stats from undisciplined. Regular contributor. Thank you, undisciplined. Mhmm. And it says, can I get a bigger discount by sending back jars full of pecans, honey, and maple syrup?
[00:16:49] Oshi:
Oh, yeah. Yeah. I did see that. Yeah. Definitely. Supply your pecans for the butter. Definitely. That'd be amazing.
[00:16:58] Permanerd:
If they just sent it back full of of huddle butter? Would that be even more of a discount?
[00:17:05] Oshi:
Man, be working for free at this point. Send it though. Send it.
[00:17:10] Permanerd:
July 12 I'm trying to figure out where we I think that might be the last one.
[00:17:15] Oshi:
When was that? July what?
[00:17:17] Permanerd:
Well, that says three weeks ago. The next one is July 14. So that would've we must have already done this But it was from Alice as well. And it says, testing from boost me, bitch. Fountain issues. I feel you, Alice. I feel you. So thank you, everybody, that sent in boosts. It is most appreciated. And like I said, we're both poor, so we need money to pay for hosting for this podcast before Pod Home kicks us off. I got a email from it from Pod Home that said, get a job and pay your rent. In all caps, and that was it. Yeah. I just sent another one back that said one bourbon, one scotch, and one beer.
[00:18:02] Oshi:
Genius. Fill one up.
[00:18:09] Permanerd:
One of the other things we like to do at the beginning of the show is I can't believe I actually remember this. Oh, is to check the stats Oh, yeah. From set pod home. Tell me to get a job. Tell you get a job. I need three jobs at this point. Yeah. No kidding. And let's see here. So we've now surpassed 10,000 all time downloads. Sick. Yeah. We're at 10,760. And the last episode number 15 oh, yeah. This is episode 16 for anybody that was wondering. Number 15, buy the dip, and that is at 1,066 downloads. And that is that is our our highest total of any podcast. To do with the name, dude. It's a good name. It wasn't you see, the the clever part about it is it wasn't b u y Mhmm. Because, I mean, everyone says that. It was by b y e the deal. Smart, dude. Smart.
[00:19:17] Oshi:
Square root.
[00:19:22] Permanerd:
Oh, man. Did I mention that I'm running on very little sleep and I might be a little delusional and delirious?
[00:19:33] Oshi:
Yeah. Me too. I had a long day. Oh, man. Should be a good episode. Let's go. Yeah. I thought we were wrapping it up.
[00:19:41] Permanerd:
Well, it was a good talk. Yeah. Good good talking you. See you next month. So then the next two after that, number 14 and number 13, had have download totals of five hundred and forty and five fifty five. So we've almost doubled those totals for the number 15.
[00:20:01] Oshi:
Pretty good. I like it. So, Donka, all you listeners
[00:20:05] Permanerd:
Donka share. And it's still the the podcast players. Apple Podcast and Domus, 3937%. Still no one has sent any a boost talking about how they listen on Domus. Wait. So
[00:20:20] Oshi:
did Domus not to go sidetrack here, but didn't the Domus relay go down? I don't know. I think Will was saying something about that, but I could be completely wrong. But I saw Oh, I thought it yeah. You know what? I think I remember him saying that he was thinking about it because of the the cost. But then but then Derek Ross came out saying that it it was down, and then he gave some suggestions, some other relays, like Ditto and some other ones. But maybe I'm just talking out my ass. I don't know. I it's hard to keep track of
[00:20:52] Permanerd:
I mean, Nostr has now has a large enough ecosystem to have its own drama attached. Yeah. So I know that seems to be. That j b fifty five, Will, who is the the main dumbass no. Domus. Domus. Domus. Is not afraid to get into it Monster, And I applaud him for it.
[00:21:20] Oshi:
Yeah. He's a good guy. Genius.
[00:21:22] Permanerd:
Let's see here. I was gonna check to see if there are any other random oh, nice. Okay. Yes. Yes. Yes. I'm looking oh my gosh. I'm looking at the bottom where single downloads, it looks like, or newer countries that have downloaded oh, there's Luxembourg's up there too. Look at that. Luxembourg sent some stats, man. Wow. I know that you've got the second highest GDP in the world. And then can you tell me who's got the highest?
[00:21:57] Oshi:
Of downloads?
[00:21:58] Permanerd:
No. No. No. No. Of the highest g GDP in the world. Oh, should we say? Is it actually, I I honestly don't know. Liechtenstein.
[00:22:08] Oshi:
Liechtenstein,
[00:22:09] Permanerd:
of course. I think it goes Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco,
[00:22:15] Oshi:
if I'm not Who's licking Stein? Who's Stein?
[00:22:19] Permanerd:
Why is everybody licking Stein? Oh, I think that's kind of an Oktoberfest thing, isn't it? You drink your beer out of the Stein, and then then you lick the stein.
[00:22:27] Oshi:
Yeah. You lick it. Lick it dry. That's right. Lick the stein.
[00:22:31] Permanerd:
God. The half of ice is gone. Lick the stein. Lick the stein. Stein. A sick band there. That would be a sick band. That's a great song. Okay. Stein. Lichten. Stein. You say Lichten. There's the outro music. Alright. See you guys next next time. On the bottom here, though, we've got Uganda, Montenegro, Benin, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Panama, Mongolia, Malawi, Kazakhstan, Guyana, and I think those are the only new ones. Oh, wait. Wait. Wait. Benin? Who what is Benin? Benin is an African country.
[00:23:27] Oshi:
I assumed. I mean, there's so many countries there. I don't even Yeah. It's, let's see if you're in Benin. Benin. I think it's I've honestly never heard I gotta look that up. Is that real? Oh, yeah. Yeah. It's definitely real. Benin, Africa. What's their Have you ever been in Africa? No. Actually, I haven't. I'd like to.
[00:23:46] Permanerd:
Me too. Never been.
[00:23:48] Oshi:
Oh, it's like in the armpit armpit of Africa.
[00:23:51] Permanerd:
Somebody, send us some messages from from Africa. Because we I see you. Like, it looks like we've got, Cape Verde, Morocco, Algeria, Nigeria, Cameroon, South Africa, Madagascar. There's four downloads.
[00:24:10] Oshi:
Wow.
[00:24:11] Permanerd:
Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Egypt. That's wild. And it is wild. So, actually, I've got I got a request for anybody in Africa. Send us send us a message. You can even send an email. Say hi @youarethealgo.com or preferably send us a boost and tell us about where you live in Africa. And if you're not in Africa, then tell us why you're using a VPN in Africa to listen to the show or download the show.
[00:24:43] Oshi:
Yeah.
[00:24:44] Permanerd:
Definitely send it. Be curious. Wow. Wait. Have you been to Africa? I can't remember if interested. No. I have not been I have not been to Africa. I would like to, though. Yeah. Me too. And there's a looks like the only one that has that has been streaming sats over the last three weeks has been, our friend Jim Seaford as well. So not only is he sending boosts, he's also streaming sats while he's listening. Setting the bar high. Yeah. What a pleb. So thanks, Jim. Thanks, Jim. The last thing we'll do in our opening diatribe is go over the Likeum.
Uh-oh. And this is just where we're trying to keep our speech. How would you say that?
[00:25:36] Oshi:
Good. Keep our speech good. Keep our speech,
[00:25:40] Permanerd:
like, good. And, yeah, keep accountability for speech. So we're trying to count the ums and the likes that are out of context
[00:25:53] Oshi:
or out context. Superfluous fillers.
[00:25:55] Permanerd:
Nice. Superfl jeez. That's how she spell it. True. I do like that. Let's hear it. How bad was mine? Oh, boy. You're just you're a walking disaster. Abominable. You're abominable. So this is for episode 15, and it says that you had 1,783 words with only three fillers Sweet. For a percentage of point one seven. That's one and two likes.
[00:26:24] Oshi:
I'll take it. That's amazing. That's amazing things.
[00:26:30] Permanerd:
And then I had 500 no. Man, numbers are hard too. 5,833 words, four fillers for a percentage of point zero seven. Dude, we're killing it. That's one one and three likes.
[00:26:45] Oshi:
We speak so good. It's crazy.
[00:26:49] Permanerd:
We speak goodly. Alright. So that is the end of stats and stuff. And now we're going to move on to story time with Oishi. Tell
[00:27:13] Oshi:
us about your field trip. Tell us about all the fish that you caught from the water. Oh, you wanna talk about that first? Okay. Yeah. Tell me. I must know.
[00:27:22] Permanerd:
We had booked a few weeks ago, we excuse me. We had booked a fishing charter from a place called Winter Harbor on Vancouver Island. And you would think that with the name Vancouver Island, it would be like, everywhere you could go would be accessible. So about that. We decided that we're going to take our trailer up, which is a 25 foot, travel trailer, and we're pulling it up and made it to a little past a little town called Campbell River, and there's a loud pop from the truck. And while I was driving, it sounded like they blew a tire somewhere in the the the right rear, whether it was the trailer or the truck. So I pulled over on this one lane highway and looked and looked, couldn't see anything, and then started driving again, the dashboard turned into a Christmas tree.
And it's just talking about, you know, throttle control error and oh, what was the other one? Something else. Brakes. I don't know what SRS. Yeah. Just s o l is more like it. True. But we limped it up to another little town called Sayward, and, I mean, there's no mechanics. It was on a this was on a Saturday or a Sunday, and so we ended up staying in a parking lot across the street from a gas station. So that was pretty sweet, exactly where we wanted to be. And got the help of some locals, and it I troubleshot it that night and found a hose clamp had blown off of an air charge intake something something.
I don't know. You open up a ninja compartment, it's all wires and hoses now. Like, there's no you've got no chance, basically. Yeah. And so I jimmy rigged another, hose clamp that somebody had a local took me into their shop actually at their house and, like, to help me find a hose clamp and put it on. And then I had a I the soonest I get an appointment was, you know, a forty five minute drive back into Campbell River to on the Thursday. So we're just cruising around, but we're fishing from a dock, and it was amazing. We were watching herds of fish swim underneath us. And it was cool because the the this dock was I don't know. On at high tide, it was probably eight to 10 feet. The water was below where you're standing.
And at low tide, it went down to, like, fifteen, eighteen feet. And so you have to lower this big net down. So you got this fish on and your the fish is, you know, 15 feet below where your fishing rod is, and someone else is lowering the net down trying to to get the fish in the net. So it was it was a lot of fun. It was a lot of fun. Wait. You guys caught all that fish just from a dock? I'm counting, like, 30 fish here. No. No. This was the this was the first attempt at getting up to there. Oh, okay. No. So we spent we spent the week there instead, and we ended up with, I think, 16 salmon from there.
Okay. And then yeah. Long story short, they they wanted $900 to fix it, and it was gonna take too long. We didn't have that much time. And so I did some Jimmy rigging. It blew again on our way back home, and then I fixed it as well as I could. And, I mean, it wasn't nothing was broken. Like, the the hose clamp broke. For some somehow, the hose clamp broke, and then it was the the hose wasn't seated properly. And until I got that all fixed, and then the next the next week, we had managed to get another charter with the same guy. And so then we drove up, and it took seven and a half hours to get up. And that was about four hours of that was down logging roads, dirt roads.
It was That sounds fun. Very slow going. So, yeah, we ended up getting up there and and then went on the charter, got to the boat at 6AM, was back we're back in in the harbor by 3PM and had limited out in rockfish, lingcod, halibut, and had a few salmon as well. Nice. So, yeah, it was it was awesome. Our freezer's full. We're actually gonna have ling cod fish and chips for dinner tonight. Hell, yeah. That's awesome. But, yeah, we started off jigging. So you you're jigging for these ling cod, and it's about a one pound weight. Like, it oh, it's crazy. It's a copper pipe with lead in it and then a big treble hook on the side of it, and that's that's the lure. What? Yeah. It was nuts. I've never seen anything like it. Wow. And so we're going for lingcod first, and it it dropped it down 350 feet.
And then you're you're jigging on the bottom and then reeling in 350 feet. Like, my arm That's wild, dude. What the hell? It was nuts, man. My arm was tired because I ended up I ended up bringing in at least nine of those those lingcod. Oh my god. But then at the end, even just bringing up the lure by itself was a challenge. Right. Right. So we ended up getting yeah. I think we we limited out on lingcod at that spot and the rockfish, and then moved to halibut, which was dropping it down with with, bait on it. So it was like think it use for bait?
It was octopus and it's either herring or I think it was a herring herring or mackerel. Eeka. Nice. And then just drop it down and then just watch the rods, and you can just see the you can see the fish chewing on it. And then, eventually, it takes the whole thing and then goes and then you reel it up. But then we're just catching a ton more lingcod there, and we caught so then we caught the the halibut, and then so now we're limited out on everything except salmon. So then we bring it up, put the downriggers down, and we're trolling around for salmon.
And sure enough, catch, like, four or five more lingcod while trolling for salmon.
[00:33:51] Oshi:
It can't even, like, get rid of these things. Wait. The picture that you sent me in the signal chat, what what fish were those?
[00:33:58] Permanerd:
That was that was everything. That was Okay. Rockfish were all the way to the left. The middle was the ling cod, and then halibut and salmon on the side. Yeah. Yeah. I'm looking at it right now. So we spent we spent a lot of time processing fish.
[00:34:15] Oshi:
Yeah. I bet. But it seems like you're pretty set on food for the next year. Yeah. Yeah. It was Which is sick. It's expensive,
[00:34:23] Permanerd:
but it was a lot of fun that trip, and and it was worth it. And the kid had had a blast.
[00:34:29] Oshi:
So I bet.
[00:34:31] Permanerd:
Yeah. But they were they were slaying tuna out there too. Like, there's the dock was full of tuna. The guys were going out and and coming back with twenty, thirty tuna. Wow. That's amazing. But they were they were going out, like, 40 to 60 miles, though. That was Oh, wow. Yeah. Deep out there. Yeah. That was more more than especially with an eight year old. I think this was his first big fishing trip, but, I mean, he was all in it, man. Can I reel up the next one? Yeah, dude. Let's do it. Like, whatever, man. You can reel up as much as you want. He reel for a little while. I like, alright. You do it. Yep. Yeah. Alright. Cool.
[00:35:05] Oshi:
That's awesome. Wow. Yeah. I think the last time I I fished was maybe if I mean, I fished maybe a couple weeks weeks ago, but the last major trophy fish I caught was a it was like a 25 pound spotter, red spotter here in where I live. And I was I just called it quits after that. I was like, alright. I'm done. That's a 25 pounds is a big fish. Yeah. It was a big fish. It was it was yeah. One and done kind of thing. Nice.
[00:35:36] Permanerd:
You just, like, mic drop?
[00:35:38] Oshi:
Yep. Yeah. Exactly.
[00:35:41] Permanerd:
And period. Yeah. Well, I've I'm pretty sure that you had your own form of vehicle issues as well.
[00:35:49] Oshi:
Yeah. Dude, exactly. I was just thinking about that. I didn't realize you had that many issues with the traveling. Yeah I had my own car issue and it's really crazy because I was heading to my first farmers market and it was the last thing that I didn't account for was loading all of the stuff into my car. I didn't realize and it wasn't even all that much stuff but the crux of the matter was that the tie rod and the ball joints on my car were going. I knew that because I could hear it. My trusty mechanic that I've been going to for a long time has told me about it.
And I don't know, just the amount of weight that I put in there was just the last thing that it needed for it to just break on me, literally in the driveway. But I'm thankful it didn't happen while I was driving on the main road at 50 miles an hour because that would have sucked. So I'll take it in the driveway. Yeah, it sucked. It took two weeks for it to be repaired because the mechanic here in town are always busy. But got it fixed, then today was the farmer's market, and I I killed it, slayed it. Had a really, really great time and, didn't make any Bitcoin sales, but the last woman and her friend, she she spoke about Bitcoin. She she has Bitcoin. She she didn't spend it, but it was an interesting conversation that we were having at the tail end of it. I kind of helped distill the the just incorrect notion that Bitcoin is crypto. So I had to lay that out for them and they were really paying attention and listening which was really cool. So it was fantastic day. So the painstaking BS of the car two weeks ago really just kinda panned out really great today. So I'm just really thankful for it. Yes. They do they do mirror our stories a little bit. Mhmm.
[00:37:43] Permanerd:
Both car issues to start with and then retry the next week and then success.
[00:37:49] Oshi:
Yeah. Isn't that interesting? There's a lesson to be found in that somewhere. Yeah. Who knows where, but whatever. Yeah. Somewhere in the the point tens. Not yet. Oh, did I say that? How
[00:38:00] Permanerd:
did you get your car to the to the mechanic?
[00:38:04] Oshi:
So I have AAA and thankfully the the guy that came was really, really awesome dude, super helpful. Got it up on the tow truck, took it to the garage here in town, and it was a Saturday. And usually they're closed on Saturdays. But you know what? This particular Saturday morning, the back gate was open and the two guys were back there and we were allowed to come in there, take in the car, drop it off and I came back the Monday morning on my bike, rode over there and took it all into place. Yeah, it was just kind of really amazing how fluid everything was thankfully.
There was no hiccups or anything. I mean, it was very unfortunate circumstance and it costed me more than I thought, but yeah, I'm thankful that the gate was open. Otherwise, I don't know where I would've taken it. It would've sucked, but. Nice. And it's actually really funny because the same garage that I took it to, they replaced the transmission on that car, my car now, five years ago. So it's got the second transmission in there now and it's a good engine. I couldn't let this car go. It just didn't make sense for me to buy another used car when this engine was still good and it was just the CV joint, the ball joint and the tie rods that needed to be fixed on both ends. It was just the left side that went out but I needed to do both of them together. Yeah. That's why it costed me a little bit more. So it is what it is but you know she's still going 244,000 miles later. Let's freaking go. Nice. Yeah yeah today was really awesome. Farmer's market was from 10 to two good amount of time and there was a woman there who offered to help me with supplying her tent for me. And oh yeah this is the other crazy part. She's my neighbor. She lives like 10 houses down which is crazy. When we first met today because we were talking just on Instagram of all places unfortunately but it is what it is. But yeah she noticed me. She was like you look familiar and then she put the two and two together and she was like oh you're that guy that rides his bike everywhere. I'm like yeah it's me.
I'm her neighbor.
[00:40:25] Permanerd:
You're that guy in Olli fans.
[00:40:31] Oshi:
But yeah it was just I don't know. The universe speaks in such funny rhymes and it was just one of those. Today was awesome. I brought 17 jars and one I brought the just the OG creamy huddle butter and then also the the coffee one. Dude I blew people's minds today. It was so awesome to see because I just imagined that in my head because you know other than the people on Noster and all my Bitcoin people they understand the pecan butter that I make and it's really cool but people in town here they have no idea.
And it was just really cool to like expose them to this stuff and yeah, they're like, oh my God, this is so good. I was like, yeah, hell yeah. Yeah, nice. It was so rewarding, it was so cool. It is, it's good to And get I ended the day with only two jars left. I was wanting to sell out but I'll take it. Two jars left out of the 17.
[00:41:29] Permanerd:
Let's go. Well, you already said you're on Instagram so it sounds to me like you already sold out.
[00:41:35] Oshi:
Well, you gotta meet some people where they're at. That's true.
[00:41:40] Permanerd:
Yeah. It's it's it's it's good to get that in person feedback. I love that too. Yeah. It felt great. It was awesome. Well, that's that's cool, man. But everybody else that's listening, you need to buy more huddle butter so that Oshi can pay pay for his car repair.
[00:41:58] Oshi:
Yeah. Oh, that's the other thing I wanted to mention. Everyone that made a donation on that Nasser note that I made a while ago about the car, thank you. It is really, really, really amazing that I don't know, I've never really done that before and never really like kind of casted a net to see if anyone would support such a thing and yeah the zaps came in and I don't know if there was another note on Nosser that really commuted that much zaps. I mean there wasn't that many but still it definitely helped and I put every single bit of that to the car. So I just wanted to thank everybody publicly here. So thank you. Really, really cool.
[00:42:37] Permanerd:
It's a good community.
[00:42:39] Oshi:
It is. It made me appreciate and really understand how special, I don't know, the spirit of Bitcoin or the spirit of Noster. It's, it's super cool. I realized it in that moment and yeah, just really thankful to be in this space. I know. Me too. I'm I'm I'm very happy
[00:42:59] Permanerd:
to be here. I mean, it it's it's something that is new to me in a way. You know, I dabbled in Facebook before. I had a MySpace account. Mhmm. But I don't Top eight? Didn't even know what yeah. Who knows? But nothing you know, Instagram, nothing else like that. And but this just feels it feels organic. Yeah. And and it feels like it's growing too. And it that's one of the things I like listening to the the Chad and Reed podcast, which is actually what it's called, the Chad and Reed podcast. And, like, just what they're doing with Noster and, you know, Reed is always talking about how it's not face or it's not it's not Twitter.
You know? It's not a social media protocol, and that's what everybody or, you know, that's what people see it, and they're like, oh, you know, whatever. It's just another Twitter. But the way that you can integrate it, like you have with your website, you know, and for everything it's a communication protocol is what it is. It's not a social media protocol. It is a communication protocol, and you can do so much with it. And and and that's what they are doing and a lot of other people are doing. And, I mean, I can just see it. Once people start to understand what it what it is and how you can use it and how you can take your identity everywhere that you go
[00:44:30] Oshi:
Mhmm. I mean, it does have that that chance to to really take off. Yeah. That's what sold me on it is where you can take your social graph and just, you know, move with it in anywhere that the protocol exists in. It's so cool, you can take all your content, your followers, blah blah blah, it's amazing and it's gonna take a long time for people to really come to understand that. It's definitely a long game that this is but it's it's here to say because people are gonna be looking for solutions and we're already building it, right? So they'll find it. Well another pain point is that,
[00:45:07] Permanerd:
you know, the the key pair Yep. Everybody is just so entrenched with username and password that Yep. Having that cryptographic key pair and understanding, like, oh, this is the way to do it. Like, you you shouldn't have a password. You need to have your NSEC secret.
[00:45:26] Oshi:
But I forgot my password. I can't reset it? Yeah.
[00:45:31] Permanerd:
Yeah. Well, that's the the problem is that a lot of people don't wanna take responsibility for anything.
[00:45:37] Oshi:
Yeah. Yeah. I mean, that's that's what I think about how, you know, Bitcoin is not gonna reach everybody. It's gonna reach people that have the problem and then Bitcoin is just gonna be the solution for them. It doesn't need to reach everybody, you know. At least that's what I think. Oh, well, exactly. And But it is for everybody. Yeah. That's what I was gonna say. Is that Yeah. It is for everybody, but but it doesn't need everybody.
[00:46:02] Permanerd:
Eventually, everybody will need to see the light if it goes according to plan. Yeah. You know, it's like people that for whatever, you know, electric drills. It's you know, I don't need that, but you're going to. You will eventually. The internet, I'm not whatever that's a fad. Yeah. Okay. Well, you're gonna use it eventually. I think I think this is a good segue into I mean, somewhat into the whole cold card thing and how introducing
[00:46:31] Oshi:
the whole understanding of entropy and dice rolls and generating a key pair and stuff like that. I think that it's going to make Bitcoin a little bit more fun for people to understand. To understand how important and understanding like how secure Bitcoin is with generating a big number and how to generate that big number by rolling dice. It's it's gonna becoming it's gonna become more of like a game I think for people. I think it's a great marketing thing for Bitcoin too. I was trying to think about that the other day and you know it's super unfortunate of everything that happened but I think that it's going to strengthen Bitcoin over time and I think it's going to introduce or rather I don't know, I think it'll get people more interested in it. It's like, oh what do you mean I have to roll dice?
It's like yeah and then they learn about it. They learn actually something about entropy and how this big ass number is like unsolvable by computers as of today, of course. But yeah, just something fun to think about, I was thinking. Yeah, for sure.
[00:47:37] Permanerd:
I totally agree. To me it almost feels like a reset button was hit. Yes. You know, it's going back to a time before I was even into Bitcoin where everybody was rolling dice and and verify don't trust was not just something that it wasn't a tagline for a cold card company, you know, like a a cold wallet company. It was actual the mantra of Bitcoin. And then it just sort of I think that I think everybody just got lazy.
[00:48:15] Oshi:
Yeah. Atrophy.
[00:48:16] Permanerd:
And now you just I mean, I did. I had a cold card. And Me too. I didn't even know Thank you. But but I didn't use I didn't generate my seed from it, thankfully. Yeah. I did. I mean, it was like, oh, this is this is cool. All I have to do is hit this button and it does that. I I, you know, I took the time to write down all the words obviously and I even stamped them into into washers. Right? Me too. So I've got a stack of washers, which is took way too long and is now useless. Yep. But, no, I have a passphrase. No. Didn't realize that I needed that. Did I roll dice? No. Didn't didn't know I needed that. Like, I figured that there was I figured it was safe. Right? And Yeah. And then for some reason, I couldn't sleep one night. And I got up at, like, 02:00.
And I think I I looked at Noster, and I saw something about cold card. So I looked a bit a little bit harder. And, I mean, it was like the sky is falling, and you kinda take a step back, like, okay. Whatever is it? And then read a bit more like, oh, this is bad. This is really bad. And so I had a I have an MK four. Okay. And it was like, at that point, it was they were just saying, like, MK threes are getting liquidated. And Mhmm. I didn't know what to do, and I wasn't going to just sit and do nothing because I didn't know. And so I have an old treasure, which I've been using for actually, I don't need to go too much into any of this.
I just I'd swapped it into the treasure that I have without I mean, I just I just did it because I didn't know what else to do, and I didn't know how long I had to wait. And I like I said, I didn't have a pass phrase or anything else. So Mhmm. Yeah. I mean, it was it was kind of a panic. Yeah. And they say, like, you know, go slow and don't make mistakes. Yep. But they also say, like, this is really bad, and it could be gone any minute. So, like, where's that where's that medium of, well, I need to get this done. And I figured that that was the safest thing that I had to do at the time was just to swap it over into a into a treasure.
[00:50:24] Oshi:
Yeah. No. For sure. I I shout out Jordan in, the Oshi signal chat for sending the first initial X tweet into their being just saying about the cold car thing. I almost didn't believe it for a second and then till I started reading into it and I was like, Oh shiitake like this is crazy. We're gonna talk about this years later. You know it's gonna be akin to the whole block size wars kind of thing. Well in Mt. Gogs. Yeah dude this is probably I don't know if this is the worst. I mean, in a way, it kind of is because everybody that I mean, Coldcard is was one of the most reputable kind of, like, hardware devices and everybody just potentially did the right thing. And But the thing that really, really frustrated me after I kept kind of delving into the problem of what really happened was that their fallback was to an inferior number generator in the firmware. Instead of it just absolutely failing to make a seed and notifying the user that it can't make it, it resorted to some inferior thing. That's insane to me. Yeah. Like, it it yeah.
It boggles my mind. I don't yeah. And that was a firmware update?
[00:51:43] Permanerd:
Yeah. Five years ago. Sorry. It was just crazy. I guess five years ago too. Oh, yeah. There's a lot of there's a lot of speculation as to what what caused it and if it was actually, you know, malicious behavior on on cold card, coin kite on their behalf like intentional.
[00:52:02] Oshi:
Yeah. I can't help but feel like it definitely is because they even said it on a an ex post explaining about the gosh, what was the terminology? Some sort of retirement kind of I can't remember what the verbiage was exactly but they basically described
[00:52:21] Permanerd:
the vulnerability years ago on an excerpt. Yeah, yeah exactly and on a podcast too Yeah, I
[00:52:28] Oshi:
I don't know, man. Even this NVK fellow, I never really vibed with the way he presented himself. I don't know. I can always usually snuff out people like that. And sure enough, I mean, look at this. Not to say like that he did it purposely. I don't think we'll know for another few years but yeah, I just feel so bad for people that potentially did the right thing but this is just a great learning point moving forward to really strengthen security and get back to fundamentals because as the future comes forward and computation gets more powerful and AI gets better and better, we're going to have more potential vulnerabilities.
It's better to do this now.
[00:53:14] Permanerd:
Yeah, tough we can absorb, I mean as a bitcoin community, we can absorb the the bad press at this point from from this. Yeah. Because And it was really cool to see everybody coming together too and helping each other. I mean, I I experienced that in the the Oshi signal chat for sure. So super, super cool. It is. And I think what makes it worse than if not all of the the tragedies tragedies that have happened in Bitcoin before, is that, you know, it it is self custody. You know? Like, having a an exchange hacked or an exchange stealing Bitcoin, you know, you were you were leaving it on the exchange.
So there is always that possibility, not your keys, not your cheese. Yep. But you have everybody that is, okay. I've got this. You know, Bitcoin is unbreakable, and I'm self custodying it. And, you know, I've got I've got my seed phrase secure, and it's in the cold cards in a vault, whatever. Yeah. And just to have it, like, there's nothing you can do. Like, you'd Yeah. Technically, you you didn't do anything wrong. Obviously, you didn't necessarily take all the steps that you needed to, but Mhmm. It wasn't that obvious either. You know? Like, you can't expect people to know how to do this, especially like I like I said, that's lackadaisical.
It just became lackadaisical and and didn't give people enough information to make it make it safe. Yeah. Plus, I mean, just terrible code.
[00:54:51] Oshi:
It was just terrible oversight or rather lack of just paying attention and caring really. Even the commits, I'm not sure if you saw that article of like the commits that they put on to GitHub for the for the updates. What is it? Like works or or runs rather. Like the the commits that they put alone, the descriptor for the commits was just so lazy. Mhmm. It was it's just so apparent. It's just it's so unfortunate. I think the word of the year is Entropy.
[00:55:24] Permanerd:
Yeah. Yeah. You know,
[00:55:26] Oshi:
I I really think that, you know, it's gonna make Bitcoin stronger for sure moving forward. We're not gonna forget this ever again. And this brings up, SeedSigner to be honest. I've always heard about SeedSigner in the past and I totally rep it now. I love what they're doing, especially their lead developer Keith Mukai. I think his last name is Mukai. He's great. I've been listening to a lot of his stuff lately. Nice. I'm I'm not gonna rep anybody at this point.
[00:55:54] Permanerd:
I'm, like, I'm Yeah. Very gun shy as to because, I mean, with just one more thing. With the cold card is that the reason I had it was from listening to the Bitcoin and podcast. And David Bennett, like, he was always talking about cold card and, you know, how it was the best and and everything like that. Yeah. So I'd say, okay. I trust his opinion. Yeah. And then I bought it. And so in no way would I ever blame him
[00:56:25] Oshi:
For sure. Even if I did I don't blame people either that have been promoting cold card or anything like that. But it's just a
[00:56:32] Permanerd:
I mean, it that's another one of those things that you need to take responsibility for your own for your own actions, and Seed Signer, at least, is open source. And that you know what? I should've like, there was something about Coldcard and the fact that it wasn't open source. Yep. And, I mean, that always rubs me the wrong way. And I I mean, I and there's always something in the back of my mind that fell off, like you had said Yeah. Too about NVK.
[00:57:05] Oshi:
Yeah. And it sucks because the Q is such a cool device, dude. Like, it's such a cool device, and especially, like, the keyboard and everything, just being able to, like, just type it in. So cool. But unfortunately, know The one thing it's How supposed to never ever. The one thing it's supposed to do, it doesn't do. Yeah, but see this is the thing. This is the thing I think that we should have always remembered is to not trust the device's random number generator. You should always generate it yourself in real world circumstance and that's just how it's always been but I think we just forgot you know, like what you were saying earlier and this was like a great wake up call to never ever rely on the device you know, To roll the dice to flip the coins to do physically yourself to verify it and to do it offline you know.
And I really really appreciate the ethos of what C signer has been always like promoting, this same thing. And that's why they've been like not really highlighted. That's why NVK always put C down. He put everybody down from what I could understand. For sure. That guy was a honestly a shit. Like
[00:58:18] Permanerd:
I have a seed signer. I still have all the components. I haven't put it together yet, but I will here shortly.
[00:58:24] Oshi:
Yeah. No. It's it's such a cool project.
[00:58:27] Permanerd:
So cool. Yeah. And then, you know, I had the Raspberry Pi already. I had the camera already. I printed the case. Mhmm. And so I just I had all I had to do was buy the screen. Cool. Yeah. You three d printed your own case Yep. Enclosure? Yep. Cool.
[00:58:41] Oshi:
Yeah. I wish I had a three d printer. I'd I'd be it'd be really cool to make some for my, Bitcoin group here in town. Just kind of surprise them with with some.
[00:58:50] Permanerd:
It's difficult to find the Raspberry Pis, I think, at this point. Yeah. That's what I've heard. Yeah. To get the first I mean, the Raspberry Pis, you can you can find. But the Yeah. The the the Pi zeros. Well The three point ones. Well, now 1.3. Or 1.3. Sorry. Yeah. The 1.3. They don't have Wi Fi. There's no Bluetooth or Wi Fi. Right. Which at the time was like, what am I supposed to do with this thing? And I'm like, ah.
[00:59:14] Oshi:
Right. That's what I'm saying. It really brings you back to fundamentals again. Yeah.
[00:59:19] Permanerd:
Because, mean, I bought that one. It was brand new. I've got I think I've I've got every iteration of Raspberry Pi up until the five. I don't have any fives. I don't know what they're up to if they're up to sixes. But Yeah. I don't know. Roll the dice. I actually found I was gonna buy some casino dice, and I actually have five Las Vegas casino dice.
[00:59:39] Oshi:
Man, this is this is the other thing about the whole casino dice versus, just dice that you have at home or something like that. Keith Mukai, he he published this article, maybe a few days ago now, really going through and explaining that. It there's not really that much of a difference, especially if you roll them properly, if you shake them well enough, it's like the variance of difference is negligible between casino dice and just regular dice. I'll have to find it. Maybe we can link it somewhere. Well, I've wondered that too. Just about
[01:00:15] Permanerd:
I mean, I was going to use regular dice, but then I was looking at my dice and realized that I had five casino dice anyway. But Mhmm. Like, what I don't understand. Even if you have like a wonky dice,
[01:00:27] Oshi:
does that matter that much as far as entropy goes? Yeah. He was saying that the way that you roll it matters. In the article he was talking about or what he what he analyzed from some of the other references that he was talking about is if you just give a half assed roll, if you just lob it, that's not good. The way to do it is, the way that I did it is just get a Tupperware box or just a box and just Yeah, shake the hell out of you're good. And make sure to count it the same way every time. That's the key. You have to have consistency in the way that you just count it. If you just shake the hell out of it,
[01:01:08] Permanerd:
you're you're okay. And then what, like read It's it left gonna to right be overly for complicated. Is that what you're talking about? What's that? Do it every the same way every time. Are you talking about like having them Left to right, right to left, whatever Yeah. It is, is so crazy, man. It's mind blowing as to
[01:01:23] Oshi:
Yeah. It really is. It it's fucking crazy. And there's a lot of just like, FUD out there about this alone, like the whole dice thing too now. It's just it's tough to navigate and I can totally understand why people aren't coming to Bitcoin.
[01:01:39] Permanerd:
Yo. Well, I'm gonna do it. I I think I'm gonna have the kid do it with me and just make a game out of it and
[01:01:46] Oshi:
Exactly. Roll the dice. Like, it should be simple. It should be fun. And as long as you generate a big ass number privately offline and you keep it secure, you're okay. It's really that simple. That's the beauty of Bitcoin. Yeah. People I think like myself have forgotten that. And so this whole incident with the coal car thing has really you know, brought us back to ground level. So
[01:02:11] Permanerd:
It is. It's definitely a wake up call. And I think it I think it it shook out a lot of influencers too. Yes. So to get to see what people are made of, how they how they react to something like this. Exactly. Or if they just disappear apparently.
[01:02:28] Oshi:
Yep. It's just getting rid of the fat. You know, it's like burning dead wood. You gotta burn some of the dead wood to bring more growth. Right? Yes. There's a certain redwood tree I believe that you actually have to it germinates after a forest fire. That's cool. Yeah. I went to the redwoods in California years ago. Those trees are just nice. Unbelievable. Yeah. That's Unreal. It's almost like don't even believe it. It's like I'm in the world of Avatar or something. Yeah. Or you're an ant. Like
[01:02:56] Permanerd:
Yeah. It's insane. So beautiful. And just walking through, you can just feel the energy. There's a couple forest here. Like the there's a forest that has some old ass fir trees, and they don't get as big as as those old cedars, but, like, they're they're just ginormous too, you can just feel the energy inside these forests. Yeah.
[01:03:18] Oshi:
Yeah. It's so cool. Speaking of energy,
[01:03:20] Permanerd:
the bullish market has some some good energy, and I finally managed to make it to one after several months Oh. Last night. Yeah. You you were telling me that you got some sales from there too. Yeah. A couple of that. Eric p and Chad f, I believe.
[01:03:35] Oshi:
Nice. So What'd they get?
[01:03:37] Permanerd:
The Medley mixed organic mixed fruit. So Nice. Yeah. I'll be trying to ship those out next week. But now it was it was awesome. There's a lot of people. It was very active. The chat was active. Each individual, booth had pretty active chats and Nice. Jukebox was going. People were dancing. I was gonna ask. Yeah. It's awesome. People were finger dancing on the floor.
[01:04:05] Oshi:
That's sick. Did you did you put any tunes on? I did. I've I I
[01:04:09] Permanerd:
like to put on Luna Pilot and, Abel Abel and the Wolf. So it's, Abel Craft or Abel Abel and, Sir Spencer, Wolf Kansas City, who's Nice. Big into the podcasting two point o movement as well. And,
[01:04:29] Oshi:
yeah, I like to throw on one of their songs. That's cool. I love that the bullish market still going. I need to attend. I've just been so busy or I would just accidentally forget about it but
[01:04:38] Permanerd:
I still support it. Definitely. I love I love it. It is. And, you know, bullish is constantly making improvements. And so like we said before, sign up for the bullish market and use the promo code YADA. And anywhere else you buy anything, use the promo code YADA and just go to oh, wait. You know what? The bullish market has its own its own web web page now, web URL. Oh. Bullishmarket.world, I think. Oh, no. But it's actually take my stats. That's right. Go to take my stats and use the promo code yada.
Let's try that again. Go to take my sats. Hell, yeah. And with that, where can any lovely person that's listening to this find you and your wares?
[01:05:32] Oshi:
You can find it on the website at oshigood.us. I don't really have anything in stock right now because I sold everything at the market today which is a great problem. Sometimes you have to welcome the problems in life and definitely welcome them today. So hopefully I'll stock up soon but you could find me there, you could find me on Noster and that's honestly it. I I try to keep it really simple and yeah. And then what do you have in stock? Are you stocked up now?
[01:06:02] Permanerd:
I don't know actually. I need to I need to take some time and and sort out what I've got. I need I'm hoping that I have enough to, send to to Chad and Eric. So if not, guys, if you're listening, I will do a run of that this week and get it out to you after forty eight hours that it takes to freeze dry it. But that's satsforsnacks,thenumberfour,.com, and then Noster and the Yada podcast, which is a monthly podcast I do with my good friend, Oshi. So alright. Well That's fun. Yeah. It was great to chat with you and get back in the saddle.
And until next time, just remember that you are the algorithm. Yada.
